Introduction

An "International Workshop on Bioluminescence", between two ISBC conferences, takes place at Beijing Normal University, China, 11-15 September 2015. The workshop deals with the phenomena of bioluminescence from both theoretical and experimental views. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss new findings and to serve as an opportunity to incite collaborations between experimentalists and theoreticians. This workshop is co-chaired by Prof. Roland Lindh from Uppsala University and Prof. Weihai Fang from Beijing Normal University. The organiser is Prof. Yajun Liu from Beijing Normal University.
