本研究室在该领域所处的位置

介电谱方法,本质上是研究电磁场与物质体系的相互作用。与其它常用的如红外、紫外可见光谱等同族谱学方法相比,最大的特点是涵盖了相当宽的频率范围,因此,适合在很宽的频率带(mHz-GHz)对各类不同化学特征和物理状态的分子体系、分子集合体系,大块物质和胶体分散系、以及生物细胞和组织等体系进行研究,获得一个非常宽的时间和空间尺度上各种弛豫过程的信息。

与其它谱学方法不同的是,实验上测得的介电谱图虽然也包含很多各个特征频率的介电信息,由此也能了解所研究体系的宏观的和整体的介电行为。但是,有关内部大量的微细结构的、动力学的和电的信息、特别是对于非均匀体系组成相的信息,则必须通过建立在一定物理模型上的数学解析来获得,这个从观察到的介电参数获得体系内部信息的过程称为“介电解析”,本实验室的特点和优势就是能够完成这样一个获得详细内部参数的过程。因此称为“介电弛豫谱解析实验室”Laboratory for Dielectric Relaxation Spectroscopy Analysis, LDRSA)。

LDRSA1998年发足以来,沿承了京都大学HANAI研究室的理念和方法,并将理论解析手段拓展到了很多化学、生物和材料体系的很多分支。目前我们开展的一些方向,如含膜多相体系和粒子分散系的分步解析法,处于国际前沿水平,其它多方位的应用正向着达到与国际介电谱研究同一水平而努力。总之,作为有着上升发展趋势的研究领域,介电谱方法正越来越地受到来自各个领域的关注。

 

研究领域及方向

基础研究:非均匀体系的介电弛豫理论和谱的解析方法,贯穿于以下主要体系:

1.有机高分子膜和生物膜;

2.胶体和纳米粒子分散系;

3.生物细胞悬浮液;

4.胶束、微乳、囊泡等膜模拟体系;

5.聚电解质溶液和生物大分子体系;

6.电流变等功能性液体材料体系。

技术开发研究:利用介电谱特有的“non-invasive”和“in situ”之特点,在开发连续实时介电监测方法上也集中了相当大的兴趣和努力,目前主要尝试于细胞培养和受损过程中、粒子的物质吸附和释放过程中的状态和内部参数分析。
